Cumann na mBunscoil Camogie Final

Well done to the Ballinamere girls on reaching the Cumann na mBunscoil final. The girls faced Killeigh in what was an exciting, fast-paced game of camogie. The score was kept to a draw for most of the game and it wasn’t until the last 10 minutes that Killeigh got a new lease of energy, coverting 3 scores in quick succession. It was a nail-biting performance from start to finish and Ms. Guest was very proud of their huge performance on the day. Parents and teachers were very impressed with their fine display of hurling too.

Congratulations to the Killeigh girls.

This morning we were given a lovely surprise from the Cantwell family with a beautifully decorated (and very tasty) cake in honour of getting to the final. Thanks very much to Ann-Marie Cantwell for her lovely work – it was much appreciated by all!

All the girls got a nice big slice this morning. Yum!
