Sixth Class Pupils are putting the finishing touches to their production, “Deputy Kenny and the Dáil Bandits”. Act One was performed for the school on this morning. Attention now turns to Act Two, with a full and public performance scheduled for early February, details of which to follow. Have a look at the photos for a sneak preview of the sixth class performance.
And Mr. Fleming keeps his best foot forward throughout the performance!
The children in the Special Autism Centre performed their Christmas Concert on Monday, 19th Decmeber for their parents and invited guests.
The production called ‘A Winter Wonderland’ was a mixture of music, singing and poetry that was enjoyed by all.
We have been busy practising our Nativity play for the last few weeks. This Thursday, 15th December at 1.p.m you are welcome to come and see it in the school hall. Here are a few pictures of the cast!
Congratulations to the boys and girls who represented third, fourth, fifth and sixth class in the Fast Games competition held in Tullamore last Wednesday. All four teams returned to the school with gold medals. The third and fourth class girls team came first in the Offaly competition and will go on to represent Offaly in Leinster.
Fifth Class have just won a Fai- To against Manarat Alfarouk for Girls school in Egypt. The competition lasted for nine rounds and Ballinamere won five rounds to four. Well done to all for taking part.
The sixth class are doing a play this year, Deputy Kenny and the Dáil Bandits! Fifth class are helping with the music. The play is set in the Wild West. Ms Killeen is teaching the music and Mr. Forde and Mr. Fleming are teaching the lines of the play. Sixth class are practising hard. The sixth class play is an annual event and it is held in the school hall. All the other classes are going to see the play before the parents and families see it. Everyone looks forward to the show every year.

We hope you like our winter scene. We gave our snowmen a carrot nose, a nice, warm woolly scarf and a very nice hat! We used our fingertips with white paint to give the snow effect.
The students of 5th and 6th class from Ballinamere National School will be singing a selection of Christmas Carols this December in Riada House, Tullamore General Hospital and The Day Care Centre .The students will be accompanied by their music teacher Ms. Killeen. An occasion not to be missed !
